This post will contain ten simple and easy weight loss tips.  I won’t say that these are amazing weight loss tips because there is a lot of advice and weight loss tips available.  But they are the 10 best weight loss tips I could find.  So what are the top tips for weight loss?

1. Decide to change your lifestyle, not just embark on one more diet. What this means is that you need to change your mindset. If you neglect this or don’t do it, you should expect another failed diet plan.

2. Look for a nutritional plan that you can live with for the remainder of your lifetime. This step will be important because if you fluctuate between plans or if you select a plan that is not sustainable, you will probably give up and quit. ).

3. Select a exercise regiment that fits your current fitness level that you can gradually build on as your weight decreases. This is going to mean that you are willing to start where you are. It also means that you will not give up your plan to lose weight just because you are not as physically fit as you would like to be.

4. Find an accountability partner or group. This will involve you stepping outside your comfort zone and being transparent about your struggles as well as your progress.

5. Set realistic weight loss goals. An important point to remember here is that you need short-term goals as success markers as well as your long-term, ultimate weight loss goal. The reason why this is important is as it helps you to observe minor success in the process.

If your weight gain was caused by emotional eating and/or overeating (which many times it is) work to find your triggers.  Once you know what causes you to eat when you’re not hungry or to continue to eat when you full, find a way to avoid those triggers and break the pattern of over eating and emotional eating.

10. Plan to lose weight slow and steady.  This is not a popular proposition, but a healthy weight loss goal to strive for is one to two pounds per week.
